What Does Life Mean?

  Life is like a jack-in-the-box.  We don’t know what will happen next.  Though we spend happy days, the next day we may face bad trouble.  On the other hand, one poor man may win one million yen in the lottery, and he’ll become a millionaire.  No one can read the future.  The best thing is to make a studious effort and God can bless you finally though you once fall into the pits of despair.  Let’s live life to its fullest.

Life Is Swimming

  I like swimming very much.  I would often swim in my childhood.  I recognized life is like relays.  For example, medley relays consist of four swimmers.  Each swimmer does her best, and as a result, they can accomplish their best time.  They believe in themselves and each other and fulfill their own part.  For another, in a swimming meet they compete against the combined time.  Even if one swimmer swims more slowly than usual, another can swim faster, and the team can aim for the championship.
  We can’t live alone.  If we decide to finish things by ourselves, we sometimes can’t do it.  At all times we cooperate with others.  Believing in others may be the most important thing in life.

My Life

  Life is a journey without a map.  There’s no knowing what will happen in the future.  It seems that our daily life is just a repetition, but that’s quite wrong.  Every trifling thing has a meaning.  We can’t deny the chance that it will lead to something important.  In our life, trial and error is the only way to move forward and make our way.  We often come across a hardship or an obstacle.  Just as we cross a river by using a bridge, we have to overcome the difficulty by learning various kinds of things or being helped by someone.  There is no map for our life, so we have to make a map by ourselves.  Someday, we’ll reach the end of the journey.  By that time, we hope we’ve realized our dreams or objectives.  That’s why life is a long journey for us.

Life Is a Soccer Game

 What is Life?  I think that life is a soccer game.  It has tides.  Life brings not only happy times but also bad times, like a soccer game.  When things are going well with one team, it should reach the goal.  If one team can’t reach the goal, the other team will be fit.  As for life, if you are happy, you should not be careless and if you are unhappy, you should put up with unhappiness.  Enjoy your lifelike a soccer game.

Prismatic Life

  Life is a rainbow.  We have various emotions and parti-colored days, as we lead our lives.  For example, when I have a good mark on a test, I feel happy.  This moment is orange.  In contrast, when I quarrel with my precious friends, I become sorrowful.  This occasion is blue.  However, I make it up with her, so I get glad.  At this moment, the color changes to red.  Thus, life changes day by day, even moment by moment.  We have things making us happy, sad, or angry.  So life is a rainbow.

Life

  Life is a chain.  It consists of links, the incidents of my daily life.  Every ring is related to the next ring, so if I lose even a single ring, the chain will fall to pieces.  That’s because life is the accumulation of a series of chain reactions.  From the moment we are born, when we were given DNA (which is shaped like a chain), we are living an endless spiral of actions and reactions.  Chaos Theory says even a trivial incident from ten years ago may have great meaning in our life.

Life Is Beautiful

  I believe that life can be compared to sakura, cherry blossoms.  For example, a man’s life is very short.  We can live only for one century at most in the eternal stream of time.  Cherry blossoms also can be on the branches for not more than one week.  However briefly we and cherry blossoms may live, both can bloom beautifully.  Our work for others can make them happy, while cherry blossoms give us great pleasure.  The beauty of them is second to none.  What is more, the cherry trees bear sweet fruit after the blossoms have gone.  It seems to show how ardently cherry blossoms lived.  For us, if we work hard, we’ll be able to bear great fruit.  From these examples, you can see how life is cherry blossoms.  If we work hard, we’ll have the beauty of cherry blossoms.  When we bloom, we can say with heartfelt emotion, life is beautiful.

Life Is…

  Life is a penalty kick.  A penalty kick occurs when a soccer game ends in a draw.  On that occasion, the kicker may be nervous, but he may be excited and imagine that he will shoot in the goal.  If he dos this, he and the members of his team are very happy.  Life is like this.  Some will be able, others will be unable in all situations.  Therefore, we feel happy or sad and life is very interesting because nobody knows his future.

An Adventure

  Life is an adventure.  An adventure is an exciting experience in which dangerous or unusual things happens.  Life is the same.  We don’t know what will happen or what someone whom we will meet looks like.  In life we cannot return to the past, so we have only to advance.  This is important in having an adventure, too.  We will aim at taking reassures or discovering something new.  Whatever we aim at, we necessarily have a dream for the adventure.  A dream is necessary for us to live a life.  That is to say, life is an adventure.
